TRC wins substation engineering contract by FirstEnergy

TRC Companies won more than $3.3 million in transmission and substation infrastructure improvement projects by FirstEnergy Corp. As a primary supplier of substation engineering services for FirstEnergy's "Energizing the Future" initiative, TRC will design improvements to existing infrastructure at 69, 138 and 345 kV substations in Ohio and Western Pennsylvania during the initial phase of the program.


Through "Energizing the Future," FirstEnergy will invest more than $2.8 billion in transmission system upgrades over the next four years.

The project work will be supported by TRC engineers who live and work in FirstEnergy's service areas.
