Comverge, Emerson, NRECA join Association for Demand Response & Smart Grid

Washington, D.C., September 24, 2012 — The Association for Demand Response & Smart Grid announced the addition of five new members. They are Comverge, Emerson Climate Technologies, Rodan Energy Solutions Inc., National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA) and On-Ramp Wireless.

ADS is a non-profit organization based in Washington, D.C., that focuses on the development and exchange of information among policymakers, utilities, technology companies, and other stakeholders. Its members include companies and organizations involved in demand response, as well as individuals who consider themselves to be DR and smart grid professionals.

ADS provides services to help its members in the conduct of their work and in the attainment of their personal, corporate and governmental objectives. ADS seeks to establish and grow a demand response "community" of policymakers, utilities, system operators, technology companies, consumers and other stakeholders.
