Ed Davalos is the Director of Product Management for Utility / Smart Grid solutions at AT&T Mobility. His organization is responsible for the development and implementation of industry solutions which focus on levering AT&T’s Mobility assets and offering portfolio for the Utility vertical markets.  His current work involves ensuring the delivery of solutions that meet the industry's expanded needs for next general of Smart Grid solutions including manages services, secure critical communication, workforce transformation and wireless applications.

Ed brings more than 25 years of experience in the utility, government and enterprise markets.  He has held a variety of leadership positions in sales, marketing, product management and operations with Schlumberger, Motorola, Nextel and Sprint before AT&T Mobility.

Ed currently serves as an advisory director for utilities for the Southeastern Emergency Response Network (SEERN), focusing on private sector programs for critical information sharing and emergency response initiatives.  He previously served as co-chair of the Homeland Security Working Group at the Georgia Electronic Commerce Associations.  Ed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Maryville College along with graduate work from East Tennessee State University.
