Conservation measures implemented by Constellation Energy include: energy efficient lighting including solar exterior parking lot lights; heating controls for existing steam and hot water heat; new high efficiency condensing boilers for hot water use; low-flow toilets, shower heads and faucet aerators; vertical axis wind turbines to generate electricity; exterior insulation on the family apartments; and new energy efficient windows to improve efficiency and resident comfort.
