eMeter planning European expansion

Barcelona, October 9, 2009 — U.S.-based eMeter Corp., a provider of smart grid management software, signed deals with multiple new European customers and partners as it expands operations in the European Union.

The company, which serves customers across the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand, is now under contract with Vattenfall AB; and with strategic partner Siemens.

The company also inked deals with Germany’s Umetriq, and the UK’s ElectraLink for deployment of its EnergyIP Meter Data Management software.
