All-weather writing paper

Tacoma, Wash., March 8, 2010—J.L. Darling Corp. offers “Rite in the Rain” all-weather writing paper. The patented paper, which works well with a pencil, is created specifically for writing field notes in all weather conditions. From the torrential downpours in the Pacific Northwest to the blistering heat and humidity of a Florida summer day, “Rite in the Rain” sheds water, so users can continue to write on it—even in a downpour.

Among the company’s all-weather writing products: bound books, stapled notebooks, spiral notebooks, field-flex bound books, loose leaf books, copier/laser paper, synthetic copier and ink-jet paper, grid pads, vinyl labels, field planners, planner components, field books, pocket notebooks, CERT/emergency notebooks, public safety notebooks and all-weather pens.

The manufacturing process is clean and pollution free. The only by-product is steam. Made from renewable wood fiber, “Rite in the Rain” is totally recyclable—just like plain paper. In addition, the Polydura cover stock contains post-consumer recycled material.
