Xcel signs contract with Geospatial Holdings


Pittsburgh, November 23, 2009 — Xcel Energy unit, Xcel Energy Services, entered into a three-year contract with Geospatial Holdings, Inc. to provide utility locating services throughout the state of New Mexico.

Work on this three-year, unit-price contract is scheduled to begin immediately. Mark A. Smith, Geospatial’s CEO stated, “This contract should provide Geospatial with more than $800,000 of revenue over the life of the contract.”

Dennis Dickinson, President of Utility Services and Consulting Corp. said USCC and Geospatial have the talent, technology and resources to dominate the pipeline locating and infrastructure management industries throughout the Southwest.

Geospatial Holdings, through various units across the U.S. utilizes proprietary technologies to determine the accurate location and position of underground pipelines, conduits and other underground infrastructure data allowing Geospatial to create accurate, three-dimensional digital maps and models of all underground infrastructure.
