Atlanta, September 20, 2011 — Metadigm Services, a utility services company specializing in advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) services to utilities, announced a one-year deployment with Oncor Electric Delivery, delivering power to about 3 million homes and businesses within 118,000 miles of distribution and transmission lines.
To abide by new legislation and state policy, Oncor, based in Dallas, is set to deploy smart meters to their customers in North Texas.
Metadigm Services has specialized in metering, SCADA and communications services and products for the electric utility industry since 1990. Metadigm is the combination of former companies Specialized Technical Services, LepService, and Power Engineering Associates.
The company offers AMI/AMR technical field services, in house testing/lab services, IT development, GIS/GPS data gathering and analysis, warehousing and distribution services, and rapid prototype with product development to meet any utility challenge.
