Atlanta, September 27, 2011 — Smart grid solutions providers, Ecologic Analytics and Landis+Gyr announce today that the companies are strengthening their already market-leading collaboration by moving to pre-integrate the Gridstream solution portfolio with the Ecologic Meter Data Management System, using the next generation of the International Electrotechnical Commission — Common Information Model (IEC-CIM) 61968-9 (2nd Edition).
For more than a decade, Ecologic Analytics and Landis+Gyr have partnered to integrate solutions. The working relationship was formalized, when Landis+Gyr AG took a minority interest in Ecologic Analytics in late 2007.
Since that time, the two companies have aligned product roadmaps, added joint customers and were the only smart meter and MDMS providers to participate in Electric Power Research Institute’s interoperability test of the IEC-CIM (1st Edition).
