Benjamin F. Montoya, Public Service Co. of New Mexico`s president, CEO and chairman, was elected chairman of the Edison Electric Institute. John W. Rowe, Unicom Corp.`s chairman, president and CEO, was elected first vice chairman. Erie Nye, TXU`s (formerly Texas Utilities) chairman, and chief executive, was elected second vice chairman.
