AMR contract


Itron and Southern California Edison (SCE) finalized and signed a contract for automatic meter reading (AMR) services. Under the terms of the contract, a mobile AMR system owned by Itron will be used to provide monthly consumption reads and direct access reads. Services are priced on a per-meter basis. The term of the contract is for 11 years with options to renew thereafter. Installation of the system is expected to begin in the third quarter of this year and will take approximately one year to complete.
