GRI forms joint venture

The Gas Research Institute, Chicago, and Karl Weiss GmbH & Co., Berlin, Germany, formed a joint venture, starline Trenchless Technology LLC (sTT), to accelerate transfer and commercialization of trenchless technologies from Europe to North America. Based in Piscataway, N.J., sTT will initially focus on commercializing Karl Weiss` starline cured-in-place linear technology, a process that requires digging only two holes to rehabilitate natural gas service lines and mains.
