HSB Group acquires SI


The Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Co. acquired Structural Integrity Associates Inc. (SI), a provider of advanced technology and analysis to assess the condition of key equipment for electric utilities and other industries. SI uses highly sensitive and accurate material testing, evaluation and analysis techniques to predict the financial useful life of equipment.
