KN Marketing to serve Ill. merchant:
KN Marketing, a subsidiary of KN Energy Inc. will provide natural gas and fuel management service for a 600 MW merchant power plant in Elwood, Ill., owned by Elwood Energy LLC, a joint venture of Peoples Energy Corp., Chicago, and Dominion Resources Inc., Richmond, Va. KN will supply the plant with up to about 10 billion cubic feet of natural gas per year and manage the plant`s fuel service, including supplying, balancing and managing storage and transportation.
