NewEnergy and Exelon Energy licensed in N.J.:

NewEnergy (formerly New Energy Ventures) and Exelon Energy received their business licenses from the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. New Jersey consumers began signing with energy service providers (ESPs) on August 1. Enrollment in the competitive market is scheduled to begin October 25, and delivery of power from ESPs could begin as early as November 15.
