DOE funds SOFC research


The U.S. Department of Energy selected four companies to receive nearly $13 million for research on solid oxide fuel cell technologies (SOFC). AlliedSignal, McDermott Technology, NexTech Materials, and Technology Management Inc. will conduct the research, which will cover both planar and tubular SOFC designs.
