Edison International`s board of directors elected Diane O. Wittenberg a vice president of the corporation. Wittenberg will be in charge of corporate communications for Edison International and Southern California Edison. She will also continue her role in developing Edison International`s environmental policies. She joined Edison in 1986 as manager of corporate communications. Most recently, she was president of Edison International`s electric vehicle subsidiary, Edison EV. Wittenberg replaces Thomas Higgins, who accepted the position of president of Edison Enterprises.
