OPTImizer+ is an in-service, on-line monitor designed to predict circuit breaker maintenance needs and avoid costly brea-ker failures. Using microprocessor-based technology, it monitors mechanism time, arc duration time, and contact interrupting duty. OPTImizer+ features visual, digital or analog outputs available at the breaker or inside the control house; an RS-232 port for remote HMI via standard SCADA, relay, wireless, or other communication system; easy, non-invasive installation; simple menu-driven programming; and rugged utility-style construction.
