Eastern Enterprises units Boston Gas, Essex Gas and Colonial Gas are using Excelergy`s billing software as part of a scalable, enterprise-wide billing and customer information management system the companies are installing. The move comes amid the deregulation of Massachusetts` market to allow customer choice of energy providers. Implementation of the first two phases is scheduled for completion next year.
