Commonwealth Edison appointed Ronald E. Talbot, a utility expert from Consolidated Edison, as a regional distribution operations vice president in charge of the city of Chicago. The company also promoted Carl L. Segneri to the same position in charge of the suburban and rural territories. Senior vice president and president of the distribution group, Carl J. Croskey, created these positions to strengthen the regional oversight of the delivery system. Both Talbot and Segneri will be responsible for all distribution operations and will report to Croskey.
