The Public Service Company of Oklahoma (PSO), Tulsa, Okla., ushered in the new year without Y2K-related incidents, serving as an example of the familiar adage, "no news is good news"-which continued as a common theme as midnight rolled across U.S. electric utilities. "The electric industry can be very proud of the way it did its job during the long New Year`s holiday period," said Michehl R. Gent, president of NERC.
