San Diego, February 1, 2011 — ClipperCreek, a producer of electric vehicle equipment, and Jetlun Corp., a provider of energy management solutions for homes and buildings, announced their collaboration to offer a smart grid-enabled solution to allow EV charging station owners to remotely monitor and control their EVSE and to opt-in to participate to their utility programs to reduce energy costs.
The product will integrate Jetlun’s Intelligent Management (JIM) system for accurate monitoring of the energy usage of the EVSE, and to enable remote on/off switching by the charging station owner or the utility.
The solution bridges a number of communication solutions to ensure seamless integration.
Jetlun’s JIM technology will be integrated into ClipperCreek’s CS and LCS (ClipperCreek’s new residential unit) products. UL listed units will be available this summer.
