Washington D.C., November 23, 2009 — The GridWise Alliance and the International Engineering Consortium will collaborate in the area of smart grid technology.
Part of this relationship will include participation in Grid ComForum this February 2-3, 2010 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
“The GridWise Alliance is excited that the IEC will become a strategic partner as we move smart grid forward, combining the knowledge base of the IEC membership with our smart grid ecosystem,” said Katherine Hamilton, President of the GridWise Alliance.
The International Engineering Consortium creates a partnership between academia and industry by providing quality continuing education, research, publications, and service programs for the international information industry.
