City of Danville goes live with new CIS

Danville, VA and Toronto, Canada, April 15, 2008 -- The City of Danville has completed the successful implementation of its new customer information and billing system, CIS Infinity by Advanced Utility Systems Corp. (Advanced), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Harris Computer Systems. In addition to installing CIS Infinity, Advanced coordinated the installation of a new central cashiering application offered by Professional Consultancy International LLC (PCI).

With these two new systems in place, the second phase of the city's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software project is complete. The city is now able to deliver customer information and billing services to its 45,000 water, electric and gas customers.

CIS Infinity includes a rate engine that uses extensive normalization of the rate structure that is designed to allow for virtually unlimited rate configuration for each of the city's services.
