Waukesha, Wisc., January 25, 2012 — Empresa Eléctrica Pública de Guayaquil, EP, EEPG, the largest utility in Ecuador, has been using Cooper Power Systems CYME Power Engineering Analysis Software for Transmission Systems for more than a decade, and is now working actively to complete a project using CYME CYMDIST solution for distribution analysis.
Empresa Electrica Publica de Guayaquil, EEPG, also acquired several new CYME modules and software, including CYMGRD, from Cooper Power Systems, a unit of Cooper Industries, to improve the utility's power system engineering analysis capabilities of their grounding system as well as all their substations and generation power plants.
